The food was delicious at El Zarape. I had the carnitas and they were very flavorful and moist. The rice was also amazing! The service was thorough. The food came out pretty quick. Our server was very kind to us. The atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurant was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.
Very, very, good food. I need not say anymore. The service was timely but leisurely for group conversation. The dinning area was clean and well maintained. The interior had changed since my last visit but still very tastefully done. Table service for check out was nice and that added a personal touch to the service. Severing size Was ample and my to go order was ready and well packed as soon as I was ready to leave. Great place to visit when you are in Bowling Green, Ohio.

This is the best chicken and rice I've had in a while! Very yummy, and our waiter was attentive even though the restaurant was pretty busy. We'll be back for sure :)))
The Falcon Burrito is a delite with shrimp, chicken, beef, chorizo and pineapple with a light cheese sauce. The fajita burrito is also an excellent choice , with onions, peppers, steak or chicken and sides.
We visited BG all the time when our son went to college here. Our go to for dinner on Fridays was El Zarape. They have a wide variety on the menu, but we always loved the chicken soup, Sopa Azteca. We have tried many Mexican restaurants near home, none can compare to the rich flavors, abundant chicken, and freshness with the avocado and pico de gallo.
El Zarape gives Bowling Green an authentic Mexican option. Plenty of seating and a broad menu. Service was attentive, friendly, and prompt. The food was freshly prepared and presented nicely. The bathrooms nice and clean. Definitely worth checking out. Be sure to bring cash if you want to save the credit card surcharge.
El Zarape is probably the best Mexican restaurant here in BG in my opinion, I really love their Quesadilla Supreme and Chile Colorado, they’re both descent and tasty.
